TOPIC: Our culture is obsessed with food issues. We are bombarded every day with images of culinary temptation, as well as diets & short cuts, workouts & controls. Yet we never manage to satisfy that deeper spiritual hunger within us all. Food is an important reality and we ritualize it every day, but it also plays an important role in religious traditions, in terms of rituals, disciplines, symbols, and meaning. Weaving Christian with Jungian insights, this workshop provides reflections on the soul’s relationship to how and when we feed the body.
